Fresh off a 59-3 win over Central Washington, a new Lady Griz head coach, and an upcoming Portland State game the guys have plenty to cover. Colter Nuanez of ESPN Missoula and Skyline Sports joins in as a guest to help break down everything you may have missed from the big win and shares some thoughts moving forward.
This episode opens with some quick thoughts and discussion on Brian Holsinger, the next head coach for the Lady Griz. The guys also talk about the ongoing successful season for the women's soccer team as well. At the 35:00 mark in the pod discussion moves to thoughts on the Central Washington game. The Montana Grizzlies and Lady Griz basketball seasons came to an end in the Big Sky Conference tournament. The men's team built some momentum with two wins, including an upset win of Weber State. While the Lady Griz suffered another challenging first round loss to a 2 win Sacramento State team. We break down our final thoughts and we look ahead to our expectations for both teams moving forward. What can the men's team do to keep momentum going, and what will the head coaching job look like for the women's team?
After that we hop over to football, where the Big Sky spring season is about at it's halfway point. We discuss thoughts and observations from the conference so far. Then we move on to Montana who has returned to practice, reported new player weights, and is getting ready for 2 spring games. The Griz will host Central Washington and Portland State in April and we go though some expectations and players to watch.
