With men's and women's basketball in full swing the GFP is back at it with guest Colter Nuanez of Skyline Sports and ESPN Radio of Missoula. Should we be freaking out over the men's start of the season? What does the strong start for the Lady Griz tell us? Will there be a football season? Did Luke forget how to do the intro? We try to tackle these topics and make sure to get to fan questions as well.

Do you want to end up like Nelson McNair?
Friday Oct 30, 2020
Friday Oct 30, 2020
It’s been nearly 25 years since the black-and-blue, decomposed body of an 18-year-old Livingston youth was found wedged in the banks of the Yellowstone River.
Generations filter and pass, yet a cluster of Livingston residents vividly remember Nelson McNair’s renegade teenage charisma. Charisma is a word that of course is hard to describe. When compared with the flesh experience it tries to capture, it falls short. But Nelson McNair had it and, according to friends, family and law enforcement, someone may have purposely eliminated it by taking his life almost 25 years ago.

The guys are back, this time with Senior Associate AD Greg Sundberg as a guest on the show. Greg shares a little bit about his background and what got him to Grizzly Athletics and then dives in deep on many hot topics. The guys then move to talking about the GSA, its source of funds, possible 2020/21 shortfalls, and how fans can help today.
Of course the biggest topic on everyone's mind is what the 2020 fall football season may (or may not) look like. Greg gives us his thoughts and shares his overall opinions on the odds for a season as well. Also discussed are what alternate plans might look for in the fall and the challenges of moving football to the spring.
As usual the show closes with fan questions, many of which circulate around the upcoming football season. There's questions on known North Dakota jokes, the Hi-line, and eating a wooden door too. Naturally the show had to have some odd questions!
