Can you feel it Griz Nation? The long wait for Grizzly Football is over! Montana's opening game is set for this Saturday against the Butler Bulldogs and we had plenty to cover. With our guest, voice of the Griz, Riley Corcoran, we cover thoughts and observations of this Grizzly team and how they looked in fall camp. The chat provides awesome insight on names to get familiar with, and areas where he's most excited for. After that the guys move into season predictions and some general thoughts all over the conference. Fan questions round out the final 45 minutes or so. The season is here, Go Griz!

The 2023 College football season is about here, and the GFP is back! In the midst of rapid changes at the FBS level with conference realignments we sit down and chat about this last weeks major football news. Joining the GFP is Ryan Thornberg with the R&R Cat Cast as well. Ryan adds some additional insight and thoughts from his perspective on the landscape of college football, plus how different Big Sky Conference schools may or may not make good candidates for move ups. The group also discusses the preseason media and coaches polls and all conference teams. There was plenty of fan questions after 4+ months since our last pod, answering and covering those take up essentially the entire last half of the show.

It's been a few months Griz fans, we missed you! In our first episode of 2023 Brint and Mike (with James of course) sat down to share their thoughts on the Spring Game. The discussion covers players that stood out, impressions on the game overall, and areas on ongoing need. From there the discussion moves quickly to wrap up the Men's and Women's basketball seasons. There's a talk on the media landscape as well in the wake of recent local shakeups in coverage. And of course our last 1/3 of the pod is fan questions. Questions this time ranged from expectations on the season, winning fights against feral hogs, Thai food, and Easter candy. Enjoy!

After a week off the GFP is back and has plenty to recap and discuss. First up we cover the NDSU playoff loss and some general observations and thoughts from there. After that the discussion moves more broad on this year's results vs it's expectations. The conversation continues with some forward thoughts and much asked about discussions on needed upcoming changes. Finally, fan questions round out the show in the final segment. The Montana Grizzlies mounted an incredible comeback on Saturday night. The Griz scored 31 unanswered points to secure a first round playoff win and we're here to recap it. With Luke stuck on icy roads Kyle Sample joins us for the full breakdown. There were records broken, wild moments, and ongoing frustrations to fully cover. After that, we look around the FCS and begin to scout out the NDSU Bison. In closing, as always, the last 45 minutes are dedicated to fan questions.

It's a first for the GFP, our first over 4 hour pod. Also, our first attempt at multiple guests by different ways of media. This week, we cover the brawl loss but we mostly take a 30,000 foot view approach to the game and the results. As for our guests, we have Colter Nuanez with Skyline Sports and ESPN Radio in person. And joining us virtually is and Andrew Schmidt, a former Griz player. The pod also quickly features Brady Fryberger. Brady is the Griz fan who made it to Gameday and became a quick internet sensation with his on-air quote. The final hour (or so) of the pod is dedicated to fan questions that we didn't fully cover in the first portion.

the Grizzlies ended their 3 game skid and got back to their winning ways shutting out The Mustangs. Over the first portion of the pod, discussion covers how much this win was needed and the major takeaways from the game. From there, we have plenty to talk about, looking around the conference and the FCS. Afterwards, the discussion moves into the upcoming Eastern Washington game and there's a quick look at some playoff scenarios. Eventually, the pod closes out, as always, with fan questions! Go Griz!

The month of October, for Grizzly fans, has been an ugly one. Fresh off their 3rd loss in a row, the GFP is back at it to discuss the most recent loss. Mike and Luke (with Kyle and James) were there in person for this game even. What's not working seems apparent, but where do the Griz go from here? In this GFP we take some long and hard looks at the concerns surrounding this team. Fortunately quite a bit is still in play for Montana and with the passing of this month it is time to look ahead. With November starting the Griz have two home games in a row to right the ship. The discussion moves to essentially the start of a new season, one with no margin for error. The Montana Grizzlies fell in OT on the road at #2 Sacramento State. It was a game with many pivotal moments the sealed the outcome and we're here to discuss it. Despite the loss the Grizzlies looked far more like a top-tier team and that has the guys feeling optimistic looking ahead. As we shift from the Sac loss to the Weber game there's some scouting on what to expect there. This week the pod was once again full of fan questions and we got to as many as possible!
