The Grizzlies are halfway through pre-fall camp and we’ve got some general thoughts and observations so far. We talk on position battles, new transfers, and some general expectations on both sides of the ball. There’s discussion looking out around the conference and then the last hour closes out with fan questions.

It’s been a few months since the last GFP and we’ve got plenty to cover! First off we introduce Kyle as now a regular host on the pod and put the call out for a new logo. Moving on to sports, Grizzly spring camp is over and now it’s time to talk transfer portal and the 2024 season. We recap and discuss other spring sports quickly as well. Joining the pod is the voice of the Grizzlies, Riley Corcoran, and voice of the Lady Griz, Ace Sauerwein. With plenty to cover we recap everyone’s experience at or watching the national title game. From there we discuss and review both the men’s and women’s basketball seasons and upcoming conference schedules. It’s time for the FCS National Championship as the Montana Grizzlies square off against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits. Joining us are Grizzly legends Jimmy Farris and Marc Mariani. Additionally we welcome in known motivator and favorite backup running back Andrew Schmidt and our now regular contributor Kyle Sample. The first two hours are dedicated to hearing from Marc, Jimmy, and Andrew on their experiences and thoughts. From there in the last hour we move to covering SDSU and answering fan questions.

The Montana Grizzlies have punched their ticket to the FCS National Championship Game. In defeating the NDSU Bison in a thrilling 2OT game Montana secured their first return to the natty since 2009. The game itself immediately has become one of the best Grizzly games of all time. On this week’s pod, that’s the whole show. We dedicate our entire episode to the greatness that was this game and reflect upon the season in it’s entirety.

The Montana Grizzlies roll on to the FCS quarter-finals and we’re here to cover it all! The Grizzlies had a decisive 30 point win against Delaware in a snow globe game with all sorts of memorable events. This week we took time to reflect on that game and discuss the playoffs, FCS and FBS, in general. After that some initial thoughts are shared about the Furman Paladins. And then, as always, the pod closes with just over an hour of fan questions.

Marcus is assisting with the Good ‘ol Grizzlies NIL and he helps explain on how fans and businesses can better assist our student athletes. You’ll hear a lot of great insight from Marcus on the plans and goals of what this NIL can do for Montana. From there we discuss Montana’s upcoming opponent, the Delaware Blue Hens, and we take a quick look at other playoff games. As you’ve grown to expect, the end of the pod finishes out with unanswered fan questions.

The Montana Grizzlies concluded their season with a 37-7 ass kicking of the Bobcats. And in doing so, securing their first outright conference title since 2011 (we were there, it happened). Kyle Sample rejoins the pod and we spend practically the entire 3 hours recapping the day. With everyone nursing various degrees of hangovers we relive the entire day and share our best memories.

Cat week is here once again! As is now becoming tradition, joining us is Colt Palmer and Ty Palmer for nearly 3 hours of stories, laughs, and insights on the game. On this pod we dedicate just a few minutes to recap the Grizzlies dismantling win over Portland state. After that, it’s all Brawl of the Wild. The Palmers hang with us for all 3 hours as we talk rivalry history, this week’s game, and answer fan questions.
